BIODYNAMICS AND OUR TERROIRS

“Biodynamic farming is the most advanced way to enable vines grow deep while trying to ‘reach the stars’. Vines then bear ‘unique’ grapes expressing their terroir, that will end up in genuine and unrivalled wines.” CE – Spring 2016

One of the greatest and most challenging “playground” for Alsatian viticulturists is located at the foot of the Schlossberg hill, which overlooks Kientzheim. Schlossberg was the first out of the 51 vineyards to be classified as Grands Crus of Alsace, back in 1975.

Grand Cru Schlossberg is famous after all world-renowned vintners working these fields (Faller @Domaine Weinbach, Barthelmé @Domaine Albert Mann, Bott @Domaine Bott-Geyl, Trimbach, Domaine Trapet, Blanck, etc.).

THE IDEA OF TERROIR WILL FROM NOW ON BE EPITOMISED IN ITS PUREST EXPRESSION!

OUR BACKGROUND

What led Marc Rinaldi to carry out his project? He wanted to gather the best patches of land, the most talented and committed winegrowers -especially to biodynamic farming-, as well as dedicated and demanding fine wine lovers, around the idea of making and ageing the best possible wines, while bringing out the distinguished and specific character of each and every terroir.

THREE DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES GETTING TOGETHER

Because wine connoisseurs need to give their trust to a big name committed to making every effort in order to make and enhance very fine wines.
